Nestled at the foot of the San Tan Mountains, Sun Groves is located in the southeast corner of Chandler, south of Riggs Road between Lindsay and Val Vista Roads, and bounded on the south by Hunt Highway.

Chandler received a federal grant to help income-qualified families rehabilitate and purchase up to 17 foreclosed homes.
Chandler is hosting four workshops to educate the community about the Cities First Time Home buyers Program.
The one-hour workshops will be held at 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:
- Thursday, June 25, Sylvia Encinas Hartford Elementary School, 700 N. Hartford Street.
- Wednesday, August 26, Downtown Chandler Library Council Chambers, 22 S. Delaware Street.
- Thursday, September 24, Chandler High School Multipurpose Room, 350 N. Arizona Avenue.
- Thursday, October 22, Chandler Community Center, 125 E. Commonwealth Avenue.
